Paul W. Tyshchenko is an associate with Caruso Smith Picini and his practice encompasses both criminal and civil litigation.
Mr. Tyshchenko’s practice is focused primarily on defending the rights of teachers, school employees, police officers, and other public employees. Much of his work involves defending public employees against disciplinary charges, tenure charges, and other employment-related matters. Mr. Tyshchenko proudly represents several public-sector unions, including, but not limited to, the New Jersey Education Association, and the Fraternal Order of Police. Mr. Tyshchenko also represents clients in criminal matters, weapons forfeitures, zoning and land-use matters, landlord-tenant disputes, labor negotiations, arbitrations, unfair labor practice proceedings, and proceedings before PERS, PFRS, TPAF, and PERC.
Mr. Tyshchenko is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of New Jersey, and in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Prior to joining Caruso Smith Picini, Mr. Tyshchenko devoted much of his career to public service, including working for the Borough of Haddonfield, Rutgers University, and the New Jersey Pinelands Commission. He also practiced as a sole practitioner for many years.
Mr. Tyshchenko earned his B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania. He later earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
